Bander T. Hamooh

Bander Hamooh has over thirty years of experience in numerous retails, pharmaceuticals, and FMCG leadership roles. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, Bander began his career at the Saudi Ministry of Health. He has a proven record of experience in leading strategic business transformation programs in different industries such as pharmaceutical, retail, healthcare and FMCG.
Bander has also served as Director General at the Saudi Ministry of Health and served as Chief Executive Officer of Nahdi Medical Company, the business he fundamentally transformed with tremendous success to become a highly acclaimed healthcare business pioneer.
In October 2017, Bander was assigned the Chief Executive Officer of Panda Retail Company. Being a customer-oriented executive with a legacy of retail business achievements, Bander has been driving a robust growth and transformation programs in Panda, repositioning the company on top of retail industry in Saudi Arabia. Bander also serves as a Board Member from multiple public listed/semi-government and joint stock limited companies.
Mohammed Khorshid
Chief Financial Officer
Mohammed holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Manchester, United Kingdom (Y2015) and bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Aleppo, Syria (Y2001). Mohammed also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Mohammed has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial planning and strategy, the significant part of his experience was gained at Panda, where he recently served as Panda's Acting Chief Financial Officer. Before that, Mohammed held several positions at Panda, as Financial Controller, Corporate Finance Director, Director of Finance, and Director of Financial Planning & Analytics. Mohammed previously worked for Ewaan Global Residential company as Chief Financial Planning and Budgeting officer for almost two years and worked for Waly Sait Audit Firm as Senior Audit Manager for nine years.
Abdullah Al Sabban
Chief Operating Officer & CEO Advisor
Abdullah holds a master’s degree in business administration from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and he is certified executive performance coach and a member of Misk 2030 Leaders Program. As a highly experienced and accomplished leader, Abdullah has spent nearly his entire career in operational excellence, business, people development and Coaching. Over 25 years of experience, across Saudi Arabia, UK and the UAE, he held a variety of leadership roles in Supply Chain and was appointed as Panda’s Vice President for Transformation & Operational Excellence in December 2017 and later in January 2019 as Chief Supply Chain Officer, then became the Chief Operations Officer in 2022. He has in-depth knowledge and expertise of driving strategy, vision, organizational excellence, quality assurance, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse management, transformation, and people development to bring forth world-class ROI concepts that help simplify and streamline manufacturing processes and supply chain networks.
Eric Bertrand Deliers
Chief Commercial Officer
Eric holds a master’s degree from International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2010. He has more than 30 years working experience in retail industry with an extensive Merchandise know-how in purchase and sales development. Also, he is an expert in change management, negotiation, and store operations with in-depth understanding of smart retailing. Eric worked previously at Carrefour Group in China for around 20 years in various leading positions, most recent of which was as Chief Operating Officer for three years, preceded by capacities of Vice President and Member of the Board for 8 years, General Director of the Group for 6 years, and Hypermarket Director for 2 years. Prior to that, he served as Carrefour Hypermarket Director in Indonesia for 2 years and Thailand for other 2 years. Eric started his early career with Carrefour Group in France in many management positions for 8 years.
Zuhair Al Maghrabi
Chief People & Shared Services Officer
Zuhair has a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, an Executive MBA from King Abdul-Aziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a Master's degree of Arts in Education & Human Development from George Washington University in the United States. He has more than 27 years of human resources experience in both private and public sectors, having served lately as the Chief Human Resources Officer at National Housing Company (NHC). Prior to that, Zuhair held the positions of the Chief Human Resources Officer for Almajal Group, Mohamed Yousef Naghi Group, and Bupa Arabia. In addition, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and the Chairman of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee at the Saudi Contractors Authority and Taajeer Finance, respectively.
Ahmad Chehade
Chief Marketing Officer
Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the Lebanese American University in 2005, and then worked at multiple Grocery Retailers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the marketing department. Ahmad joins us after spending the past three years working with Panda as a Marketing Consultant. Prior to that, he worked full-time at Panda for over nine years holding several positions in the Marketing Division, starting as a Marketing Manager, moving on to be the Head of Marketing, and finally promoted in 2017 to the position of Marketing Director. Throughout his career, Ahmad has accumulated extensive marketing leadership experience as well as a relentless energy to understand and meet the changing needs of Panda customers.
Wassim Al Tahawi
Chief Governance, Risk, and Compliance Officer
Wassim holds a bachelor’s degree in economy from Damascus University and a certified in risk management CRMA, fraud Examination (CFE) He is trained and certified in designing, building, and overseeing audit and GRC functions. Additionally, Wassim is a frequent speaker and author on GRC topics. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners ACFE, the Saudi institute of internal auditing SIIA and global IIA.
Wassim is the Chief Governance, Risk, and Compliance Officer at Panda company. He has over 20 years of experience in GRC and auditing, and has held senior leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies in the retail, FMCG, steel structuring and manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and technology industries.
At Panda, Wassim is responsible for developing and implementing the company's GRC strategy. He also leads a team of professionals who are responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and global best practices covering company overall Quality Management system, security and loss prevention, inventory controlling and cyber security as well.
Under Wassim's leadership, panda has implemented a number of successful GRC initiatives, including:
• Developing and implementing a new GRC and internal control framework that aligns with the company's overall business strategy driven by loss prevention and proactively guarding company assets and facilities.
• Implementing a risk management process that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across the enterprise.
• Implementing a compliance program that ensures that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations include a companywide whistleblowing program.
• Developing and delivering GRC training and awareness sessions to all panda employees and related stakeholders.
Bandar Al Saidi
Vice President for commercial food
Eng. Bandar earned his bachelor's degree in 2004 from King Fahad University for Petroleum & Materials. Then, he obtained a Diploma in Management from the University of Leicester. He has also been professionally certified from INSEAD Business School in France & IMD Business School in Switzerland.
Bandar joined Panda Retail Company in 2003 as a Division Manager of one of Panda’s stores, and then got promoted to Operations Manager for the Western Region, then to Support and Development Manager of the Operations Department. He then moved to the Commercial Division as a Director, leading up to his current position as a Vice President of Commercial Division for Grocery Food.
Ghazi Alem
Vice President of Store Expansion and Network Development
Ghazi holds a master's degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Jeddah which complements his substantial practical experience of over an impressive 16-year career primarily in the banking and retail sectors.
He played a key role in initiating and leading transformative programs, blending strategic insights with leadership to foster sustainable change and operational excellence. During his journey at Panda, he was appointed as the Head of eCommerce Strategy and Activation, Ghazi then progressed to Head of the Transformation Realization Office. There, his work greatly improved the strategic landscape, leading to his role as Director of the Customer Experience Revival Program. He has significantly enhanced customer experience and service quality.
Now, as Vice President of Store Expansion and Network Development, he uses his broad experience to influence the company's growth and future achievements.
Hesham M. BaEissa
Director of Public Affairs & Board Secretary
Hesham holds a master's degree in business administration from UBT and a bachelor's degree from King Abdulaziz University. He experienced in social responsibility, public relations, Board Affairs, corporate governance, and general assemblies of companies. Hesham joined Panda Company in 2012 and has held a variety of positions. In 2016, he was appointed as Secretary of the Company's Board of Directors and its related committees in addition to his responsibilities as head of the Social Responsibility Department and the Public Relations Department. Hesham has a passion for promoting positive change for companies and society through the development and implementing the necessary governance and through sustainable social responsibility programs. Prior to joining Panda, Hesham spent four years as the Deputy General Manager of the Western Region of the international Subway restaurant chain.
